I will never ask Brian to give the boys a haircut...

Because if I do, he might follow what his cousin Aaron did to his kids.

Please see the video over on his blog... watch it until the end for his dear wife's reaction. Seriously worth it. (So sorry Catey! They're still adorable! It's just a little, you know... SHOCKING!)

Sometimes they just don't get along.

These are the signs I found on my children's bedroom doors the other day.

This is on Madison's door:

A bit late, but here's our New Years Eve for 2008!

We had so much fun on New Years Eve with just our family. :)

We spent the evening playing Monopoly for the first time with Taylor and Jordan while Madison and Reagan watched "Snow White" over and over and over and over again.

After about 4.5 hours of the game (which actually was pretty fun and didn't drag on as much as I feared...) it was almost midnight and we bundled up to go outside and light sparklers. (Thanks to Heather for giving us theirs! It was totally fun!)

Reagan LOVED the sparklers.

Madison didn't want to do sparklers. We convinced her to hold one so we could take a group photo and one with just her. She's not a fan, but smiled for the camera anyway.

This was the first New Years Eve that the kids have stayed up until midnight. We turned on the TV and watched the ball drop in Times Square. The kids enjoyed it, but were trying hard not to fall asleep.

Happy New Year! We're excited for all of 2009!
