Frozen Butter DOES NOT...

I repeat: DOES NOT need to be microwaved for ONE MINUTE.

He he he. Also, if you're defrosting bread, please remove the twist tie. The unremovable black spot on the back of my microwave from the fire is exhibit A.

lol, I've already learned that one from experience as well. I guess that counts as "Softened" right?

I make this mistake several times a week! However, since I do, my microwave is very clean because I have to keep cleaning it. Therefore, I just pour the melted butter onto a plate and freeze it for a minute or two and it is usable again. (I do this ONLY if I know absolutely that the microwave plate IS clean. just so you know!)
