HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!!!

To my sweet firstborn child: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

You will never understand the HUGE change you made in my life. I can't even remember what life was like before you were here. And holding you in my arms for the first time? The thought of you turning ONE let alone TEN sounded just so far away.

Well, the time quickly came, and as you've grown, you have also shown what an amazing person you are meant to be. So caring about the feelings of others, so helpful and warm... so much like the best role model you could possibly have in your life, your DAD.

What a privilege it has been to be your Mom.

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Taylor! Thank you for being such an important, wonderful and delightful part of our little family!

Love,
Mom

Hooray! Our Neighbors Save the Day!

I was SO SAD to not have photos of the Easter Egg hunt, but our neighbors took photos before it started! Is this not just THE best yard for an egg hunt? So many rocks and trees and sculptures to hide eggs in... It was FANTASTIC!!!

Thank you, Olson's! We may have to make YOUR yard our family Easter tradition!!! *winks*

Easter Pics!

The blog entry for today should have been pictures of our FANTASTIC Egg Hunt we had at our place (well, actually the neighbors place as they have the BEST EVER yard for an egg hunt...), but unfortunately, Brian took a bunch of photos WITHOUT the memory card in the camera. (I could just CRY!)

So what we DO have are photos of Easter Sunday, the kids dressed up in their new Easter best!

All the kids, Reagan extra "Cheesy"

Taylor, Jordan, Madison and Reagan

Taylor, 10 next Sunday!!!

Jordan, the subject of the entry before this one, age 7

Madison, age 5...

...going on 16

Reagan, 2.5, who was actually smiling for the camera, but pulling faces in more photos than any of her siblings.

Facebook Conversation

This conversation is how my Easter ended.

Madelyn

Heidi, Jordan said the funniest thing today in primary. His class read the scripture about rubbing Jesus' body with oil and spices after he was crucified and before they put him in the tomb. So Jordan got to paraphrase and he told everyone, "after Jesus died they put sauce on him and then..." It was so funny.

OH NO!!!

You never know what's going to come out of that child's mouth!!!

I've got to write that down...

It was really funny, maybe he'll be a chef, I can see why he thought of it as a sauce...oil spices it makes sense.

9:03pmHeidi

oh man... that is "classic Jordan"... lol

Thanks so much for sharing!
